Information furnished me by Christine (Maddock) Comotto shows that Thomas Emmet Imboden and Ernestine Imboden are buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Section 12, Lot 930.
Thomas Emmet IMBODEN and Ernestine MILLER were married on Aug 1, 1930 in Union, Pulaski Co, MO.26 It is assumed Thomas was married in the same place he was born and raised. Ernestine MILLER was born on May 27, 1910 in Pulaski Co, MO.26,58 She died in Feb 1973 in MO.58 Thomas Emmet IMBODEN and Ernestine MILLER had the following children:

I found for James says he died in AZ but the information given me by Christine
Comotto, great granddaughter of James, shows he was buried in Dixon Cemetery in
Dixon, MO. He may have died in MO or simply buried there. She also shows his
step children during his second marriage to Sarah were Robert Young and Julia
Carter.
Additional information sent to
me by Christine shows James committed a robbery in St. Louis and was sentenced
to the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City MO. July 26, 1935. An odd
thing to do as his grandfather was the sheriff here at the time. His sentence
was commuted in Buchanan Co and citizenship restored when he enlisted in the
military during WWII.
It appears sentences really
were sometimes commuted if prisoners agreed to join the military.

Christine, "Mearl retired from Lincoln Engineering in St. Louis. It appears she
later married someone by the last name of Vondera."

Curtis served in the Army from 1940 to 1941. As indicated by the birth places of Curtis's children, they moved around some in the 1940's just like my parents. By the late 40's they had moved to Mangum, Oklahoma. His kids, my brother and sister, and I spent a lot of time together about this time. Sometime in the early 50's Curtis and his family moved to California. He worked as a sales engineer there and apparently made a comfortable living doing so. We visited them there a couple of times in the late 50's along with my grandparents. Picture if you will, four adults and three kids in an un-air conditioned car driving non-stop along the old Route 66.

Skeet attended college for a while but quit when WWII broke out and joined the Army Air Force where he trained as a pilot. My mother and I, Marvin Imboden, followed him from one base to another when ever possible; hence, I lived in four different states before starting school. When the war was over, dad open a shoe shop in Little River, Kansas but soon found this was not what he wanted to do and returned to school. He would teach through the school year and we would move to a college town through the summer. We did this for several years until he graduated with a masters degree.

stage is me, Marvin Imboden age 2, in my first military uniform.
At some time he became tired of the problems of teaching (parents) and became an insurance salesman for a short while. About 1951 he took a job teaching at the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite, Oklahoma. I don't know if his mother living there had anything to do with it or not but it worked out great.
From here he held several different positions with the State including warden of a minimum security prison near Lexington, Oklahoma. He retired about 1985 and went to work playing golf.
Dad had a lot of problems with his heart off and on and in 1983, had a triple bypass done. He gave up smoking after this but had to have the same surgery again in 1994.
His health continued to decline over the years an eventually had to have dialysis among other problems. He died on my birthday, April 27, 2000. He no longer has to suffer the pains of old age.

Anchorage as a heavy equipment operator. He move to a small village a little
ways from Anchorage several years later and homesteaded 40 acres. He built a
one room cabin to start with which burned down about 3 years later. He then
moved his family to town to a "regular" house.
Harold was a pilot and soon
found himself as a big game guide and did a lot of flying around the northern
regions of Alaska taking hunters for Polar Bears and Brown Bears. They have so
many wonderful pictures. He actually flew into villages that had never seen an
airplane. He has many exciting stories. Neither of his boys were hunters. I
guess they had enough when they were young. Alice Imboden McGrady, his wife,
worked in a hardware store and was loved by everyone who went there. She
decided her children needed her so she became a homemaker. That lady can work
me under the table. She is over 70 and still chops down trees, cuts them up,
and hauls them to the wood pile where she spits them and covers them for the
winter. We both have real big gardens so we farm together and can and preserve
during the fall."

From correspondence with Kathleen McGrady, Harold's wife - All of the McGrady kids still live within 1/4 mile from Mom and Dad. They just can't get rid of us. Harold and Alice gave each of the kids their own 5 acres. their place is facing the lake and they see the most beautiful sun rises and sets. There is a family of geese that come back every year and we have about 6 families of eagles that are here most of the year round. Moose are a very common thing around our homes. I think it is a breeding ground, as we see mostly cows and their calves. Several times we have had bears in the country, but they seem to move on through instead of staying. We are grateful, because we all love to go cranberry and raspberry picking in the fall. Our homes are surrounded with berries. Other types of animals are loons, beaver, ptarmigan, fox and once in a while wolves. Now you know why I hated it "outside" and had to come home. We also have a wonderful view of the mountains. You can tell the changing of the seasons by how far the snow is up or down on the mountain.

"Earl F. Imboden, 79, of Mt.
Gretna died Monday, October 6, 2008, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was
the husband of Marian Staver Imboden, of whom he was married to for 58 years. He
was born in Lebanon on August 26, 1929, son of Dorothy L. Patton Imboden, and
the late Earl Leon Imboden. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. Earl was formerly
employed by Frederick Chevrolet, Lebanon, as a salesman, and attended Lebanon
Valley Bible Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time
with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his
wife and mother, Earl is survived by daughters Vicki Sharp and husband Dale of
Galloway, N.J., Sheila Myles and husband Howard of Lebanon, Dorsey Sechrist of
Lebanon; grandchildren Kelly Prohammer and husband Todd of Virginia, Keith Sharp
of North Carolina, Matthew Myles, Andrew Myles, Nicholas Sechrist and Jordan
Sechrist, all of Lebanon; great grandchildren Gekye, Zarae and Xyel Myles;
brother Jackson Imboden of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be held Friday at 9 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508
Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042, where a viewing will be held Thursday evening
from 6-8 P.M. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of
